Some of us love the sunshine and long days of summer... and some of us love the coziness of winter.
I think it's so interesting how our differing personalities play into what season we are most drawn to.
What's your favorite season and why?
No matter what season you prefer the most, tapping into the seasonal differences can benefit you dramatically.
In these coming cold winter months where the days are shorter, choosing to hit the sack at an earlier hour comes naturally.
Shorter days draw people indoors more often and can offer you a time to do more reflection on your life and what goals you want to accomplish with the coming spring.
That is one positive note about winter for me.
I am planning on using this winter to really regroup and organize my life. I do this so that come spring and summer, I can spend more time doing what I enjoy rather than having tasks hanging over me.
Typically, I tend to let the cold days paralyze me and stop me from accomplishing much.
Not any more!
I am taking a positive approach to winter this year!
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant. If we did not taste adversity then prosperity would not be so welcome." – Anne Bradstreet
My favorite season is definitely summer!
I love the heat and I love being able to go to the lake to soak up some sunshine and being in and on the water! I also love being able to grill, go fishing, and enjoy all the other fun outdoor activities!
So...summer needs to hurry up and get here but in the meantime...
This winter, I challenge you to take the long winter season and turn it into a positive!
Take the time to plan and organize for the New Year and the coming spring and summer and the renewal they offer!
Let's work together and see how we can help each other to complete tasks that we need to get done in order for us to fully enjoy the coming warmer seasons.
For example, I intend to do my "spring" cleaning over the winter. I also want to work on my photos, momentoes, and other sentimental types of projects to help me conserve my life memories. I want to work on my yard and clear out some brush and such that will provide new areas in my yard for yet more flower gardening and sanctuary areas to enjoy.
These are just a few tasks I want to accomplish this winter season.
